Comments on NCUA rules, first CFPB RFI due in April

Comments on several NCUA proposed rules, as well as the first in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) series of requests for information, are due in April.

Comment deadlines in April include:

  • April 2: NCUA proposal to update and clarify the procedures that apply to claims administration for federally insured credit unions that enter involuntary liquidation;
     
  • April 16: NCUA proposed rule that would prohibit, in certain circumstances, a federally insured credit union from making golden parachute and indemnification payments to an institution-affiliated party;
     
  • April 26: CFPB request for information on potential changes to its Civil Investigative Demand process;
     
  • April 30: CFPB request to renew the Office of Management and Budget approval for an existing information collection titled “Consumer and College Credit card Agreements.”
