4 tips for #CURockStars nominations
Be thorough, specific, creative—and don't be afraid to brag a little.

Each year, Credit Union Magazine recognizes the credit union movement’s Rock Stars: Those unique, innovative, and creative people who excel in their areas of expertise—and by doing so make our movement a better, more interesting place. It's time to nominate the class of 2021 Credit Union Rock Stars, sponsored by Fiserv.
A Credit Union Rock Star displays creativity, innovation, and passion in their chosen field. A successful Rock Star nomination has the same qualities.
Consider these tips when submitting a nomination form:
- Be thorough. What knowledge does this person have, and what creative, innovative, and passionate behaviors do they display? What are their interests, hobbies, and passions?
- Be specific. What are the tangible results of this person’s efforts?
- Be creative. Give us a sense of this Rock Star’s personality. What’s unique about this Rock Star? What makes this person tick? What are some examples of this?
- Brag a little. What awards has this person won? What are some measurable ways in which this person has benefitted or improved their organization?
The deadline for nominations is June 11, 2021.
