MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (October 19, 2018) – Now open for 2019 registration, CUNA Credit Union Board Certification School, formerly known as CUNA Volunteer Certification School, continues to provide board members with valuable education and networking opportunities.

“This class was perfect size. It enabled volunteers to interact and bond with each other while learning and exchanging ideas with speakers during and after sessions. The material presented had substance that I can take back and share with our board rooms.” said former attendee Amy White, board member at Kerr County Federal Credit Union.

“We’ve designed this school to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of board responsibilities,” said Maegan Monson, instructional design manager at CUNA. “While it’s especially useful for board members with less knowledge on credit union operations and board governance, attendees of all experience levels can gain critical insights from our expert speakers.”

Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn their Certified Credit Union Board Member designations onsite, provided they have met other prerequisites and can pass the onsite exams.

The 2019 school is scheduled to run from May 6-10 in San Antonio, TX.
