MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (November 8, 2018) – The dates for 2019’s CUNA Management School are set. From July 14-24, 2019, credit union professionals will come together in Madison, WI to study leadership skills under the guidance of vetted business experts.

“A leadership role at a credit union requires both a strong technical background and well-tuned emotional intelligence,” says Kristin Ryan, director of learning events at CUNA. “People often excel in one area and need to build their skills in the other. This school allows students to hone their leadership strengths while rounding out the areas where they need more practice.”

While in Madison, students will have the opportunity to learn from credit union experts as well as professors from the University of Wisconsin School of Business. Students will develop a breadth of skills including leadership techniques, financial operations and executive responsibilities.

After completing this rigorous three-year program, students can attempt to earn the elite Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation.
