MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (January 31, 2019) – The keynote speakers for the 25th annual CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council have been announced. This year’s keynote addresses will be delivered by executive communication experts Rob Waldman and Kelly Decker.

“We wanted to bring in the best for this conference’s momentous 25th anniversary,” said Lisa Baron, chair of the HR & Organizational Council and Senior Vice President HR and Talent Management at Baxter CU. “Both of these speakers are experienced, dynamic coaches in the fields of leadership and communication, and ideal choices to enhance this conference experience.”

A Hall of Fame leadership speaker and New York Times bestselling author of Never Fly Solo, Rob “Waldo” Waldman will open the conference. In his engaging presentation, Waldman elaborates on how a team-focused mindset enables him to overcome adversity in his own career as a decorated Air Force fighter pilot and successful businessman.

The conference’s second keynote will come from Kelly Decker, messaging expert and president of Decker Communications. Decker’s presentation, “Communication is a Contact Sport”, examines how communication can be effectively applied to change the way others think, inspire change and command action.

CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council Conference will be held April 14-17, 2019 at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa in Anaheim, CA. For more information, visit cunacouncils.org/hrodconference.
