MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (March 29, 2019) – Glia, an industry provider delivering platforms that combine technology with a human touch to give organizations seamless member experiences, was presented the CUNA Technology Council’s Best of Show Award at the 2019 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC).

This prestigious award was judged on the product’s ability to be integrated across any core processing system and presented to the exhibitor that demonstrated a commitment to delivering technology that will further the growth of products and services in the credit union marketplace.

“What sets credit unions apart from the competition is the member experience,” said CUNA Technology Council Chair, Mike Atkins, CEO of Open Technology Solutions. “Getting an in-depth look at the member journey and interactions with staff enables credit unions to improve communication methods, problem solve and increase loyalty. With Glia’s various platforms, credit unions can make any live interaction with members simple and easy—bringing the in-branch experience to their call center, website, app and more.”

Designed to provide digital-first communication, Glia’s platforms allow credit unions to offer fast, seamless mediums for engaging with members. Without any downloads or installations, Glia platforms keep the member experience simple through chat, video and CoBrowsing, so the member never has to switch channels or repeat their story to multiple member service representatives.

“As a newer provider to credit unions, I can’t say enough how appreciative we are to be this year’s recipients of the Best of Show Award, and to be recognized by the CUNA Technology Council,” said Dan Michaeli, Co-Founder and CEO at Glia. “By improving overall member experience and interactions, credit unions can work toward higher member retention and loyalty to better compete in the financial services industry.”

With this recognition, Glia was also awarded complimentary entry into the CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council and Technology Council Conference Speed Rounds session. During Speed Rounds, Glia will have another opportunity to showcase and be judged on their products and platforms for the credit union industry.
