Sand joins CUNA as new VP of System Provider Relations

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) today announced Karin Sand as the new Vice President of System Provider Relations effective immediately. In this new role at CUNA, Sand will oversee all aspects of our relationships with the credit union providers, including system partners, CUNA Associate Business Members, advertisers, exhibitors and sponsors.

“We are glad to have Karin join CUNA and look forward to seeing her leadership foster even stronger bonds with, and valuable opportunities for, those in the credit union provider space,” said CUNA Chief Engagement Officer Greg Michlig. “She has shown passion for the credit union movement and speaks to a collaborative and accountable approach to driving relationships and sales success.”

Sand brings a wealth of experience in helping organizations establish business relationships with credit union leaders through strategies including supplier relationships, membership benefits and sponsorship launches.

Prior to joining CUNA, Sand served as the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Solutions at the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) where she was responsible for the strategic direction of that segment of the organization. Her role encompassed the development of new and existing products and services while also managing those relationships to grow revenue sources.

Sand brings over 20 years of experience and strategic relationships within the credit union industry. Her expertise in supplier relations, sales, marketing, and product initiatives will further bolster CUNA’s engagement with key industry stakeholders.
