House passes bill to fund government through Nov. 21
The House passed a continuing resolution Thursday to fund the federal government through Nov. 21 by a 301-123 vote. Funding would have lapsed Oct. 1 without the resolution or a long-term spending bill.
The bill maintains funding levels for fiscal year 2019 for several credit union-related funds, including the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, NCUA’s Community Development Revolving Loan Fund and the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) and 504 loan programs.
It also continues funding for the National Flood Insurance Program through Nov. 21.
