Collections and lending officer provides a kind word to members in need.

November 14, 2019

I retired after serving more than 28 years in the military. I participated in several operations, including Panama, the Gulf War, and conflicts after 9/11. I served in the infantry as a paratrooper, drill sergeant, platoon sergeant, first sergeant, and command sergeant major.

I received numerous awards, including a Legion of Merit, three Bronze Stars, Army Commendation Medal for Valor, four Meritorious Service Medals, six Army Commendation Medals, six Army Achievement Medals, expert infantryman’s badge, two combat infantryman badges, and the air assault badge.

I held many leadership positions in the military, mentoring, caring for, and helping soldiers and their families to a better way of life. Being a former soldier has given me the compassion, understanding, and foresight to better serve GeoVista Credit Union's members successful. There are times when our members have other underlying challenges when a kind word or a listener might be what they need to help them during a difficult situation.
