NCUA’s Hood responds to Nussle’s coronavirus concerns

NCUA Chairman Rodney Hood responded to CUNA/League concerns about the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak Tuesday following a meeting with CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle. Hood recognized the needs of credit unions in this time of community need and expressed appreciation for the work that credit unions are doing for communities.

During Tuesday’s meeting Nussle shared information CUNA has collected so far on the ways credit unions are serving members affected by the pandemic, including interest-free loans, fee waivers, loan modifications and payment skips, among others
