NCUA Board to meet Oct. 28 to discuss supervisory guidance
The NCUA Board will conduct a meeting Wednesday, Oct. 28 to discuss a proposed interagency rule on the role of supervisory guidance. Federal financial regulators including NCUA released a joint proposed rule on the role of supervisory guidance Oct. 20.
The proposal would codify a September 2018 statement from the same agencies that supervisory guidance does not have the force and effect of law.
The meeting will start at 2 p.m. (ET), Oct. 28 and be streamed via live audio webcast at NCUA.gov.
The Board also announced that its Dec. 10 open and closed meetings have been rescheduled to Dec. 17.
