December 10, 2020

CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle and Chief Advocacy Officer Ryan Donovan were named “Top Lobbyists” in 2020 by The Hill.

“In a busy and challenging year for the influence world, these are the people who wielded their clout and knowledge most effectively,” according to the publication.

The Hill notes that despite the pandemic and associated economic effects, Nussle and Donovan are among key players members turn to ensure their voices are heard in the nations capital.

Both received the same honor in 2019 and 2018 by The Hill. Nussle joined CUNA in September 2014 and has been featured on the list each year since then.

The recognition is the latest critical acclaim for CUNA’s advocacy. Earlier this year, Ballast Research (formerly National Journal Research) recognized CUNA and its League partners as the most influential financial services organization and one of the top ten most effective advocacy organizations in Washington, D.C.
