CUNA Strategic Services announces Zogo Finance as preferred financial literacy provider

March 10, 2021

Zogo, a gamified financial literacy app that helps credit unions educate, engage and attract Gen Z, has been selected as the newest CUNA Strategic Services (CSS) alliance provider. The collaboration will allow credit unions to connect to their next generation of members where they actually want to be met – through a gamified mobile app on their phones.

“We’re excited to bring on Zogo as our newest strategic alliance,” said Barb Lowman, president, CUNA Strategic Services. “Through their innovative technology and personal insights, Zogo positions credit unions to set themselves up for the future by more effectively engaging with Gen Z.”

The average age of a credit union member is 47. And of the 500 college students Zogo surveyed as part of their internal research, 76% of them didn’t even know what a credit union is. As Gen Zers themselves, the team at Zogo helps credit unions spread the word and connect authentically with this younger generation.

“We are honored that CSS has selected Zogo as the preferred financial literacy alliance provider for credit unions,” said Bolun Li, Co-founder and CEO of Zogo. “We believe deeply in the credit union mission and bringing young people into the credit union movement.”

Since launching in November 2019, Zogo’s financial literacy app has garnered over 100,000 young users who have collectively completed over 2 million modules, some of which teach Gen Z about the credit union difference. Today, over 70 credit unions in more than 35 states trust Zogo as the way to educate, engage and attract younger members.
