CUNA Finance Council 2021 award recipients announced

CUNA Finance Council recognized its best and brightest via five awards presented at the recent CUNA Finance Council Virtual Conference, May 18-20. The winners and their accomplishments will be featured in an upcoming issue of Credit Union Magazine. Click here to view the full awards presentation.

The 2021 award recipients are:

Influencer of the Year Award – Casey Kucera, chief financial officer, Jefferson Financial FCU in Metarie, Louisiana

This award honors an individual who has achieved a position of prominence and influence within the credit union financial service industry and is positioned to lead the industry in the future.

Mentee of the Year Award – Kaci Kamaloski, chief financial officer, Filer CU in Manistee, Michigan

This award honor’s an individual based on their involvement in the Mentor Match Program and developed a successful mentoring relationship that significantly influences or brings about positive change in the partnering credit union.

Professional of the Year Award – Justin Mouzoukos, chief financial officer, Mazuma CU in Overland Park, Kansas

This award honors an individual who exemplifies excellence in credit union financial management.

Rising Star Award – Brian Kelbley, vice president of finance and business services at Sun FCU in Maumee, Ohio

This award honors up-and-coming talent in the ranks of credit union finance leadership.

Top Community Contributor Award – Diane Kotlewski, chief financial officer, Chaffey FCU in Upland, California

This award recognizes the value and expertise shared with peers through collaboration within the Councils Community networking platform.
