Economic Update video looks at housing prices, new senior economist

CUNA’s latest Economic Update video features CUNA Senior Economist Jordan van Rijn providing the latest look at the economy and its impact on credit unions. The video also introduces CUNA Senior Economist Dawit Kebede, who joined CUNA in June.

Kebede brings several years of experience working on trade and industry development, agriculture, and small businesses and is a specialist in Development Economics.

Among the topics van Rijn examines are vaccination rates, employment numbers, and housing prices, in addition to credit union-specific metrics including savings growth, portfolio quality, and return on assets.
