CUNA Collections & Bankruptcy Virtual School begins Sept. 14
Collections and bankruptcy professionals will learn credit-union-specific strategies while connecting with well-known experts and peers at CUNA Collections & Bankruptcy Virtual School Sept. 14-16.
“This virtual school offers a variety of tips and best practices in collection operations to help you support your members through the challenges of collections and bankruptcy,” said Kathy Smith, instructional design manager for CUNA. “It helps credit union collection staff better understand practical applications and new regulations to prepare for what is going to happen next.’”
The virtual school caters to every level of experience from a newer collector to veteran collection managers. Topics covered include how the changing face of lending and the economic impact of COVID-19 continue to impact collections. Participants will also learn how to put what they’ve learned into action at their credit union.
“Even if you have been collecting for decades, there will undoubtedly be something that you will learn and can take away from this program,” said past attendee Christy Pratt, manager of member resolutions at Cornerstone Financial.
