2022 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference Returns to D.C.

September 22, 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 22, 2021
Washington, DC

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) announced that registration is open for the 2022 Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), which will be held in-person at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

“We look forward to welcoming credit union advocates back to Washington, D.C. This conference is invaluable to the credit union movement. It is the one time each year when we come together to advocate, learn, and network in meaningful ways,” said CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle. “When we meet again in-person in 2022, we want all who wish to attend to be able to do so safely.”

“Our most recent CUNA GAC proved that we can adapt well to the digital environment, but the true power behind the GAC has always been all of us—CUNA, Leagues, credit unions, and system supporters—coming together,” said CUNA Chief Products and Services Officer Todd Spiczenski. “The pandemic has changed the meetings and events landscape considerably. Our job is to adapt and to create an unforgettable experience that strives to keep everyone safe.”

CUNA GAC is the credit union industry's premier advocacy event bringing together leaders from across the industry to rally around a united cause: to advocate for policies to better serve members and tailor services to meet the needs of their local communities.

The annual meeting will be held February 27-March 3, 2022. Please visit cuna.org/gac for more information or to register.
