House Passes Reconciliation Bill, IRS Reporting Excluded

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) President/CEO Jim Nussle released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed the Build Back Better Act, which excluded the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) reporting proposal:

 

“We are glad to see that the IRS reporting proposal is not included in the House version of this bill. As it heads to the Senate, we continue to encourage lawmakers to refrain from including this harmful provision in their final plan.”
