“Reboot” is the theme for the 2022 CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference in Los Angeles.

The conference is in person following a virtual event in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Highlights from Wednesday include Netflix executive Nikkia Reveillac, Google leader Sam Maule, and a giveback event to benefit local youth.

“Members are your marshmallow,” says Google’s Sam Maule during an exercise in which attendees competed to build the tallest structure topped by a marshmallow. The key is to focus on the confection first and build around it. Similarly, “the more you focus on the member, the better off you’ll be,” Maule says.
