Recertify CCUFC designations during August eSchool

June 24, 2022

Earning and maintaining the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation is important for any credit union staff member who wants to counsel members to improve their financial well-being.

CCUFC designations must be renewed every three years to remain valid. Attending CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) eSchool: Update is one way to recertify. This year’s event will be held online Aug. 23 - 25, and is no additional cost for credit unions with CUNA Training Bundle

Another way to recertify is to purchase the CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) Update Book, 5th Edition, in print or PDF, then follow the directions on this webpage.

CUNA Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) provides credit union employees with the skills and knowledge required to guide their members to sound financial decisions. The ability to do this is as important as it has ever been with the credit union industry focusing heavily on facilitating financial well-being for all.
