Senate reconciliation vote, housing market hearing expected this week

The House is in recess this week, the Senate is in Washington, D.C., and is expected to consider reconciliation legislation. The House may return next week to vote on reconciliation if it passes the Senate.

CUNA will be engaged with several hearings this week.

These include:

• Tuesday, 10 a.m. ET: Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee hearing, “The Rent Eats First: How Renters and Communities are Impacted by Today’s Housing Market.”
• Thursday, 10 a.m. ET: Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee hearing, “Borrowed Time: The Economic Costs of Climate Change.”
