Senate nominations, insurance hearing scheduled for this week

The Senate is in Washington, D.C., this week and the House is conducting a committee work week. The Senate is expected to consider pending nominations. 

The Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee will conduct a hearing Thursday at 10 a.m. ET titled, "Current Issues in Insurance."
