CUNA Certified Credit Union Facilitator School teaches skills needed to lead high-impact training

February 8, 2023

Knowledge of how to plan, deliver and evaluate an effective learning event awaits credit union leaders and trainers who attend CUNA Certified Credit Union Facilitator School, Oct. 14 and 15 in San Antonio. A virtual version of this school will be held April 11, 12, 18 and 19, 2023, from noon to 4 PM CT offering the same information for those who can’t attend in person. Virtual sessions will not be recorded.

“This school will help professionals who want to develop engaging and exciting learning events in their organization,” said Anna Hauck, Senior Manager of Educational Products at CUNA. “We are excited to be able to offer credit union trainers two learning opportunities this year through our face-to-face and virtual formats. Attendees can choose to travel to San Antonio and network with peers in between sessions or learn from convenience of their office.”

Attendees can expect these additional takeaways from the school:

  • An understanding of the adult learning theories and how to apply them for learner success
  • Knowledge of tips and tricks on how to gain the audience's interest, trust and attention
  • The ability to identify presentation management skills and how to achieve a motivational and engaging presentation flow
  • How to evaluate group dynamics to encourage learners to work constructively together
  • Knowledge of various training tools and how they can be used within the classroom, meeting room and/or virtual environment

Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn the Certified Credit Union Facilitator (CCUF) designation, demonstrating ability to lead effective meetings and training events that achieve desired outcomes.
