CUNA Cybersecurity Conference with NASCUS to be held in New Orleans

February 21, 2023

Network breaches and data security risks are not going away. 47% of all U.S. businesses suffered a cyberattack in some way in 2022, according to the Hiscox Cyber Readiness Report 2022.

CUNA Cybersecurity Conference with NASCUS is an opportunity for credit union professionals to be prepared by understanding the latest information and trends.

CUNA and National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) will join forces to bring their expertise, along with industry experts and credit union professionals, June 6-8 in New Orleans. Their focus: cybersecurity.

“This is a credit union-specific look at cybersecurity threats and trends,” said Melisa Kallestad, senior director of compliance and lending education at CUNA. “Attendees will understand the technical and operational side of cybersecurity, how to protect member and credit union data, threat identification and testing, tools and solutions, business continuity and more.”

Cybersecurity is everyone’s responsibility. This event fulfills cybersecurity knowledge needs for all roles within the credit union. Credit union professionals come together to learn and talk about cyber trends, threats, hot topics and how those apply in the credit union world.
