Watch: Making waves in Washington
Poet Sekou Andrews explores the benefits of positive change.
Spoken word artist Sekou Andrews believes in making waves, much like that annoying kid at the pool who splashes the adults sitting in their lounge chairs.
“Wave makers are change makers,” Andrews told CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference attendees during Sunday’s Ed (Filene) Talk in Washington, D.C.
In this interview with CUNA Senior Editor Ron Jooss, Andrews explains how credit unions can leverage change and disruption to share their stories and “defy their own gravity” in elevating their value proposition within their communities.
