Next Credit Union Advisory Council meeting scheduled for May 17

April 28, 2023

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) will conduct the next meeting of its Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) May 17. It will be a combined meeting between the CUAC and Community Bank Advisory Council, and the groups will "discuss broad policy matters related to the bureau's Unified Regulatory Agenda and general scope of authority."

The CUAC advises the CFPB on regulating consumer financial products or services, offering the unique perspectives of credit unions. Members share information, analysis, and recommendations to better inform our policy development, rulemaking, and engagement work.

All current CUAC members come from CUNA-affiliated credit unions.
