David Park Joins CUNA as Senior Director of Advocacy and Counsel

Credit Union National Association (CUNA) announced David Park as the newest Senior Director of Advocacy and Counsel. Park will serve as the association’s subject matter expert on housing issues.   

“David brings a wealth of experience and strengthens our best-in-class regulatory advocacy for credit unions. We are excited for him to hit the ground running,” said Alexander Monterrubio, Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for Regulatory Affairs & Managing Counsel.  

Park brings over a decade of experience in legal analysis and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining CUNA, he was a Senior Policy and Compliance Officer at Navy Federal Credit Union.  

Park holds a law degree from the University of Texas and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. 

He is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
