CUNA, NASCUS launch comprehensive cybersecurity eSchool amid rising threats

July 12, 2023

With cybersecurity threats increasingly impacting the financial sector, CUNA and National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) announce CUNA Cybersecurity eSchool with NASCUS, starting July 31.

"In the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape, staying ahead is not just an option but a necessity," said Melisa Kallestad, senior director of compliance & lending education for CUNA. "Our eSchool ensures credit union professionals are equipped with up-to-date knowledge and strategies to compliment their organizations security program and enhance their cyber response and mitigation posture."

This comprehensive online training event is designed specifically for I.T. and compliance professionals, C-Suite executives, risk managers and anyone who needs a deeper understanding of cybersecurity in the credit union landscape.

The eSchool comprises a mixture of live online and on-demand sessions that encourage proactive learning while allowing for schedule flexibility. Recorded versions of the sessions will be available after the eSchool concludes. Attendees will receive comprehensive education focused on the three pillars of cybersecurity: people, processes and technology.
