CFPB publishes HMDA filing guide for data collected in 2024

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) published the 2024 Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Filing Instructions Guide, a technical resource to help financial institutions file HMDA data collected in 2024 and reported in 2025.  

The CFPB also released the Supplemental Guide for Quarterly Filers for 2024, which includes 2024 calendar year quarterly deadlines. This guide will help financial institutions that are required to file HMDA data on a quarterly basis.
