Housing affordability, fintech hearings this week in Congress

The House and Senate are in Washington, D.C., this week. The House will consider various legislation, while the Senate will resume consideration of legislative nominees. CUNA will be engaged with hearings on housing affordability and financial innovation. 

The House Financial Services Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology and Inclusion will hold a hearing: “Fostering Financial Innovation: How Agencies can Leverage Technology to Shape the Future of Financial Services," Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET. 

The House Financial Committee on Financial Services Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance will hold a hearing: “Housing Affordability: Governmental Barriers and Market-Based Solutions,” Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET.
