TraceSecurity honored for governance, risk management software

October 27, 2014

BATON ROUGE, La. (10/28/14)--TraceSecurity, which provides cloud-based information technology (IT) governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, was honored by the GRC analyst firm GRC 20/20.

TraceSecurity is a CUNA Strategic Services alliance provider.

The 2014 GRC Value Award in the IT GRC Management category went to TraceSecurity for real-world implementation and return on investment for GRC programs and processes.

Understanding and managing IT GRC requires management of interconnections and relationships. What may seem as an insignificant IT risk in one area can have a profound effect on other risks and result in compliance issues, the company noted.

GRC 20/20 recognized the success of TraceSecurity's success with its TraceCSO Software-as-a-Service solution at a credit union that was struggling with decentralized processes and documents for managing IT security, risk management and compliance.

TraceCSO gave the credit union the ability to measure, identify and remediate issues across processes and operations more efficiently and at a much lower operational cost, the company said in a release.

"TraceCSO allows organizations to realize significant cost and time savings because of its integrated information architecture delivered through the cloud," said Peter Stewart, TraceSecurity president/CEO. "TraceCSO empowers our customers to be proactive in their security initiatives while automating and streamlining how day-to-day processes are managed."
