MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (May 3, 2018) – CUNA Marketing & Business Development Certification Schools has been announced for September 30-October 4, 2018, in Tempe, AZ. This event combines two separate schools to provide credit union marketing and business development professionals with experience, networking opportunities and the chance to earn official designations in both fields.

Two separate tracks are offered at the event, one for credit union marketers and the other for business development professionals. The marketing track, which takes place over three years, provides significant expertise in marketing skills and leadership, and ends with an opportunity to earn the Credit Union Certified Marketing Executive (CUCME) designation.

The one-year business development track, covers knowledge of the most pertinent skills, concepts and best practices of business development, ending with a chance to earn the Credit Union Business Development Professional (CUBDP) designation.

“Marketing and business development are business areas which are fundamentally linked with one another,” said Ariel Bilskey, director of blended learning at CUNA. “Just as important as the knowledge and designation that attendees can earn at these schools is the opportunity to meet face-to-face, discuss their ideas and troubles and view their situations with a new perspective.”

To learn more and register for either of these schools, please visit cuna.org/mbdcs.
