Washington, DC (May 8, 2018) – Today Credit Union National Association President/CEO, Jim Nussle released the following statement after Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said that the House will vote on Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act (S. 2155). During the press conference, Ryan also stated that the House and Senate are working on additional regulatory relief legislation.
“We thank Speaker Ryan for his commitment to moving forward with this vital piece of bipartisan regulatory relief legislation,” Nussle said. “Timing now is more critical than ever for credit union stakeholders to contact their representatives to urge support for this bill in order to capitalize on this momentum and move this bill to the finish line.”
