MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (April 2, 2019) – Do you have a credit union colleague who displays exceptional creativity, innovation, and passion in their job? Credit Union Magazine is now accepting nominations for its seventh annual Credit Union Rock Stars program.

Sponsored by Fiserv, Credit Union Rock Stars are professionals and volunteers in credit union organizations who are devoted to driving the movement forward through their consistent commitment to excellence and embodiment of credit union values.

“Year after year we’re inspired by the many nominations we receive,” says Ann Hayes Peterson, CUNA’s vice president of publishing and editor-in-chief. “Credit Union Rock Stars come from every asset size, every state, and every part of the credit union system. We look forward to reading all of the entries this year.”

“CUNA has done an impressive job developing Rock Stars into an important industry accolade. There is nothing quite like it, and we’re honored to be a part of this celebration of credit union talent,” said Vincent Brennan, president, Credit Union Solutions, Fiserv. “It’s edifying to learn from the stories and successes of each class of Rock Stars in the Fall. There is certainly no shortage of creativity and ingenuity in our industry.”

Last year 46 credit union professionals and volunteers joined the exclusive group of Credit Union Rock Stars which encompassed a wide range of disciplines, including leadership, operations, lending, member service, financial education, and compliance.

Credit Union Rock Stars will be profiled in the September issue of Credit Union Magazine.

Submit nominations at news.cuna.org/nominaterockstar. The nomination deadline is May 24, 2019.
