Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions awarded six credit union professionals the International Credit Union Development Educator (I-CUDE) designation Tuesday as the I-CUDE Class of 2022.

The new educators, across the international credit union movement, qualified for the I-CUDE designation after completing the four criteria required: Earn a DE designation from their home DE program; Complete at least one independent studies project; Earn a second DE designation by completing a DE program outside of your home country; and attend a World Credit Union Conference or another credit union/co-op education event outside their home country/region.

The I-CUDE Class of 2022 is comprised of:

  • Katrina Grant D’Aguilar, Jamaica (The Caribbean Development Education)
  • Kevin Lashley, Barbados (The Caribbean Development Education)
  • Angela Prestil, USA (National Credit Union Foundation)
  • Anne Owuor, Kenya (Africa Credit Union Development Education)
  • Patrick Kiage, Kenya (Africa Credit Union Development Education)
  • Paul Norgrove, U.K. (Credit Union Development Education Europe)

The six designees will be recognized during the 2022 World Credit Union Conference event in Glasgow, Scotland July 18.

The Worldwide Foundation coordinates the I-CUDE application and review process in partnership with the seven active CUDE programs worldwide.

Credit Union Development Educators are committed to living the cooperative principles embedded in the global credit union movement, both in their home country and abroad.
