CUNA National Young Professionals Virtual Conference provides industry insights

January 31, 2023
CUNA introduces Reg Z webinar series

Young credit union professionals have the opportunity to enrich themselves, while in turn enriching the credit union movement, by attending CUNA National Young Professionals Virtual Conference, May 16 and 17.

“Conference content will focus on understanding the credit union movement, navigating opportunities and professional life in the credit union space and accelerating personal and professional skills in this industry,” said Kienan Shaw, senior manager of learning events for CUNA. “Young professionals are the future of the credit union movement, so obtaining keys to unlock their potential in this space is essential.”

This virtual conference – last held in 2021 – allows involvement from credit union young professionals from across the nation. According to a past attendee, “The content presented really helps you take a step back and evaluate yourself personally and professionally. I am now attacking my personal and professional goals from a new perspective I never even thought of.”

Christopher Morris, CUNA engagement consultant, will serve as master of ceremonies. Attendees will come away with foundational knowledge of excelling in the credit union space, leading to personal and professional growth.

“If you have the opportunity to attend, do not hesitate,” says Elizabeth Martinez, solutions specialist at Altra Federal Credit Union. “This program was a lovely wake-up with so many tools to succeed as a young professional in the credit union world.”
