NFIP, rural housing, bank failure hearings scheduled this week

The Senate is in Washington, D.C., this week and will consider judicial nominations, while the House is in recess. The Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee will conduct several hearings this week of interest to credit unions.
On Tuesday it will conduct a hearings on reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program (starting at 10 a.m. ET) and on rural housing legislation (starting at 2:45 p.m. ET).
On Thursday it will conduct a hearing, “Holding Executives Accountable After Recent Bank Failures,” starting at 10 a.m. ET.
