Insurance rules simplification proposal on NCUA’s Oct. 19 agenda
The NCUA Board will vote on proposals related to simplification of insurance rules and fair hiring in banking at its Oct. 19 meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. ET, and will be streamed live on NCUA.gov.
The full agenda is:
- Board briefing, cybersecurity update.
- Notice of proposed rulemaking, Part 745, Simplification of Insurance Rules.
- Proposed rule, Parts 701, 741, 746, 748, and 752, Fair Hiring in Banking.
NCUA also released its 2024 board meeting schedule Thursday.
