I originally joined the U.S. Navy because I didn’t want the hassle of all the paperwork involved with going to college out of high school. It turns out the Navy had plenty of paperwork to deal with and I learned to embrace it.
I was rather introverted in high school and the military brought me out of my shell. My experience in data processing actually made me appreciate paperwork. I served 10 and a half years in the U.S. Navy. I’m happy to meet new people and find something new to do in my field every day as a mortgage loan officer at North Iowa Community Credit Union.
