YPTV: Credit Union Young Professionals

The credit union movement is one of the best-kept secrets for young professional job opportunities—but the secret is getting out.

Younger generations of workers increasingly seek career paths that allow them to support their communities in meaningful and lasting ways. Credit unions, with their philosophies of people helping people, provide young professionals with a sense of purpose in addition to a paycheck.

In this video, hosted by CUNA's Sarah Wirth, three young professionals in the movement share why their credit union careers are the right professional fit. "I've heard some really amazing stories from young professionals across the country," says Wirth. "One thing they have in common: the credit union is where they are meant to be."

Featured in this video:

  • Stephen Gale, business development coordinator at $623 million asset BMI Federal Credit Union in Dublin, Ohio.
  • Dawn Lepore, retail operations support manager at $2 billion asset Vantage West Credit Union in Tucson, Ariz.
  • Mark Volz, relationship development manager at Corporate Central Credit Union in Muskego, Wis.
