YPTV: Credit Union Young Professionals

Credit unions aren't just rewarding places to work. They also foster passionate communities of young professionals with career-changing advice to give.

Leaders in the industry want to see the next generation thrive in their roles and take on increasingly rewarding projects and responsibilities. The importance of supporting future leaders is a defining value of the credit union movement, and young professionals carry great advice with them as they hone their skills and advance in their areas of expertise.

In this video, hosted by CUNA's Sarah Wirth, three credit union young professionals share the career advice they would recommend to others. "No matter what level you're at in your career, you can make a difference in someone's life," says Wirth. "And, when you find your purpose, let it fuel you to be the best leader you can be."

Featured in this video:

  • Stephen Gale, business development coordinator at $623 million asset BMI Federal Credit Union in Dublin, Ohio.
  • Dawn Lepore, retail operations support manager at $2 billion asset Vantage West Credit Union in Tucson, Ariz.
  • Mark Volz, relationship development manager at Corporate Central Credit Union in Muskego, Wis.
